ASSISTIVE LISTENING AND OTHER USEFUL DEVICES

Sometimes, a person may feel that their hearing loss is not sufficient to warrant hearing aids but would like some assistance in hearing telephone conversations or the television. Or, a person may have a hearing loss that is so severe that they are still unable to hear the television, telephone or conversation in a group setting despite wearing hearing aids. In yet other situations, a person may require visual or vibrating alerting devices (for alarms, doorbells or telephone rings) when hearing aids are not being worn (for example, while sleeping).
